MARK WESLEY MOZINGO
Born: September 18, 1924

Parents: Vernon Mozingo, Joel Banner Tyson Mozingo

Married to: Lottie Dale Smith On January 10, 1945
Address: Route 2, Farmville, North Carolina (Pitt County)

Mark was raised on a farm that had belonged to his mother's family for generations. Following graduation from high school, he continued to assist his father and eventually took on full responsibility of the family farm and expanded it, raising tobacco, corn, beans, and hogs.
Mark and Lottie have four children: Margaret Anne Stephenson, Garland Wesley Mozingo, Carolyn Kirby, and Donna Dash; and four grandchildren.

Today, Mark is retired from farming; however, he continues to help his son who has taken over the farming operation. Mark also spends much of his time fishing and hunting.

Mark has been on the Pitt-Green EMC Board of Directors for 35 years. He is a former joint owner and was manager of Planter's Tobacco Warehouse.

He is also active in his church, Wesley United Methodist Church, which he helped to organize in 1947. Mark also serves on the church board and as a member of the church's Men's Club.

This honors contribution is Mr. Mozingo's spouse — Lottie Smith Mozingo.
