Grainger, Frank

Frank Grainger received the 2009 Excellence in Agriculture Award from the Tobacco Farm Life Museum. Frank started Fair Products in 1984, buying the company from Fairmount Chemical. He was instrumental in forming the Tobacco Growers Association of North Carolina, serving at times as treasurer & chairman of TGANC’s legislative committee.

A strong advocate of advanced public education, Frank also served three four-year terms on the UNC Board of Directors.

This page was given by the Tobacco Farm Life Museum Board of Directors in honor of Frank Grainger as a recipient of the Excellence in Agriculture Award.
